Purelink’s sensorEdge^TM Temperature Tag is an active RFID tag built for RTLS applications and is a versatile sensor tag, designed to measure the temperature in its immediate vicinity and transmit it periodically to distant receivers. The PLK-SE030-TE1 supports temperatures ranging from -20C to +70C. It can be used for various environmental applications, from quality control in food supply chains, to temperature control of polymers during transportation for aeronautical manufacturing processes. It can also be used for remote micro-climate monitoring for building comfort and energy efficiency.

Purelink’s sensorEdge^TM Optical Tag is an active RFID tag built for RTLS applications and is a versatile wireless optical sensor built for security applications, such as theft prevention or detection of breaches of sealed environments. The PLK-SE030-OP1 can be placed inside rooms, containers, crates or any other type of sealed environment. It then monitors ambient light levels and checks for any variations. If a breach in the environment is detected, the PLK-SE030-OP1 will automatically record this breach and notify the concerned individuals. Users can automatically validate the integrity of containers, packages and products at any point in the supply chain.
